Stay in an 18th-century underground chamber

The Indigo Bath Hotel has just opened its 18e century-old subterranean chambers completing the final stage of its major multi-million pound restoration project.

The 12 Vault Rooms are a stunning example of historic architecture and are both spacious and breathtaking. They feature exposed brickwork with soft lighting, wood finishes, vaulted bath stone ceilings, underfloor heating, and high-end handcrafted furnishings.

The rooms are equipped with a Hypnos king-size bed with luxury Egyptian cotton sheets, a spa-inspired bathroom with a roll-top bath and separate rain shower, a Nespresso coffee machine, high-speed Wi-Fi and a variety of channels on a 43-inch flat-screen TV. Vault Rooms start from £299.00 per night B&B.

Hotel Indigo Bath, set in a beautiful honey-colored Georgian terrace, opened on September 9, 2020. On 18e century, the Grade 1 listed building is the world’s first boutique hotel in Bath where confidence meets style, creativity and attention to detail.
